Acrylic Saturated Fiberglass Sleeving (AS) combines tightly woven, continuous filament E glass braid with acrylic resin saturation to deliver superior end-fray resistance. The heat-treated glass braid, free from organic contaminants, provides thermal and space factor insulation up to 650°C, though the acrylic resin component degrades above 200°C. This expandable, flexible sleeving is engineered for low voltage applications in small heating appliances, including toasters, coffee makers, carbon brushes, and irons.
